Conductivity Yarn is a type of yarn that conducts electricity and is specifically used to manufacture carpets and other material that dispel static electricity. These types of yarns are highly demanded in clothing fabric that is exposed to work under flammable environments such as in petroleum and gas industry. The yarn is processed by exposing metal wires or meshes into fabrics. The yarn is also produced from carbon nano-tubes, wherein individual CNT based fibers are spun into a fiber directly from a solution. The conductivity yarns find huge application in electrochemical water treatment and energy industry, and can replace copper windings to a great extent. The fiber yarn is single or multi-strand wherein 100% of the metal fiber is spinned from the specific type of flexible yarn. It has good and high temperature that ranges in-between 350oC to 850oC. It also has conductive attributes.
